PC requirements, explained for humans
Specs are a snapshot. Treat them as a starting point, then adjust based on resolution, background apps, and how hot
your PC runs during long co-op nights.
Minimum (usable)
Intel i5-7500 (or similar) • integrated/low-end GPU such as AMD RX Vega 10 • 8 GB RAM • ~10 GB storage
“Minimum” usually means it can run—not that you will love every setting on a 4K display with a browser full of
tabs. Close heavy background apps before blaming the game.
Recommended (comfort)
Intel i7-8700 / Ryzen 5 class CPU • 16 GB RAM • discrete GPU for higher settings
“Recommended” is where most players want to be for smoother frame times—especially if you stream, record, or
discord with video.
Comfort tips that are not “optimization culture”
- Cap frame rates if your GPU runs hot—stable frames feel better than peak numbers.
- Use headphones: horror co-op is easier when you can tell direction without cranking volume.
- If voice chat stutters, fix network stability before buying new hardware.
